Speed camera locations, Phoenix metro
Every active photo-enforcement program in the Valley, one page per city, built from the same list the SpeedShield app uses. Each page links the city’s own source.
Phoenix runs nine corridor cameras that the city relocates, plus school-zone cameras that rotate on a published schedule. Fines start at $250 at 11 mph or more over the limit on corridors, and at 5 mph over in school zones.
Tempe’s cameras are photo-enforced intersections that cover red-light and speed violations on every approach.
Scottsdale publishes the approach each camera enforces, so SpeedShield announces the direction.
Mesa runs photo-enforced intersections plus fixed school-zone speed cameras, one per direction, at the schools listed below.
Why these lists are reliable
Cities add, move and remove cameras without announcements. Phoenix pulled five in one August afternoon and added a Northern Avenue camera in September that most drivers found out about from a ticket. SpeedShield’s nightly check reads each city’s official page and diffs it against the night before, so a change reaches these pages, and every phone running the app, the next morning. Nothing here is crowdsourced or guessed.
SpeedShield speaks a heads-up before every camera on this page, starts with your car’s Bluetooth, and never sends your location anywhere. 7-day free trial, no account.
